Thanks - it will take ages to get used to - I like to be able to see what's going on with one look at the screen. With this you need to click around a bit.

Get pop up blocker if you can.

Hmmm, I'm not getting pop-ups when using the forum. The site is going to a commercial provider soon - but not just yet (this forum is actually a test of a system for sites I operate in my normal 'work').

Let me know if you get any pop-ups or any other weirdness when using the forum (that is other than that of the forum posters themselves )

It was Paulh, Oldspice. He is no more I am afraid as chocadmin removed him due to my early teething problems.

I notice zeddy is actually registered as well. If that was me then it was another faux pas!

I am here however as me and plan to stay that way. Then again ' Never say never again, Mr Bond'.

The system allows for piccies representing people (called avatars), but
I've turned it off for the time being (not sure what system will be
available when I switch servers).

The best thing about this forum is that it separates out the postings a
bit, rather than having hundreds of postings (and thousands of
replies?) all mixed in together.
