Heh ... I've seen some not inexpensive Nikon SLR lenses (which were used) go on eBay for more than their new list price (e.g. a new 80-200mm cost £1000, and the used one went for about £1250).  Some people ...

I am always amazed at the prices people pay for things at eBay. When people buy things used for more than the new price I think they must be people who do not shop around.

Thanks Minty but I don't collect boxes. Only the Japanese Kit Kat boxes are my exception.

Maybe people living abroad?

I know someone selling Creme Egg bars...

Ahhhh,Smurfy but the bars are like gold dust!!!

( oh and very nice if anyone is thinking of buying)

My first sighting of a creme egg bar was last night in the Co-op. David brought me a bar a while ago but I was not with him at the time. Try Tesco Minty, they are usually quick with the new bars.

Smurfy I have just put cream egg bars on search and cannot find them , any chance of you running that one by us again.

Perhaps you should try 'Creme' not 'Cream'.

Update: the sleeve woman took a week to reply to my email and still complained about not getting a refund. She then left negative feedback and sent me a bitchy email. I told her to shove the jacket up her arse.

Any guesses what she paid for it? Thirty quid, twenty, a tenner? No - 2.50. How will she survive the financial hardship?

People like that are unbelievable.  I once sold some music to somebody on ebay for 99p (it cost over a tenner) and she complained that there was a pencil mark in it.  She didn't leave me negative feedback though and that's the really irritating part for you Smurfy, as it reflects badly on you.  Sadly I don't know what the answer is.

I do think that is very unreasonable. She should just sell the jacket on, I have brought countless things which do not fit me or have been too short/long. I just thank the eBayer for their service, leave them feedback on the service and sell it on.

She kept saying she has several Mexx jackets and the sleeves on the one I sold her are shorter than all of them. What does she think I do, take each item around the shop to make comparisons?

Go on just admit it Smurfy, you deliberately shortened the sleeves before you sent it to her.

My shameful compulsive sleeve-shortening disorder has finally undone me.
