Anybody dim enough to pay this for a burger, please refer to me first.

I'll make one with ALL the above, plus leopardskin accessories. Honest. Can't guarantee the proceeds will go to charity though.

Check here:

Kit kat and Smarties still made in England? Hmm... I doubt that.

Double Decker Nuts sounds interesting though.

There's a restaurant in Stockholm where the kitchen is in the middle of a big pool and the staff load your plate onto a radio controlled boat which you then have to steer back to your seat, which is around the outside of the pool. Sadly I can't remember the restaurant's name as I also became rather too acquainted with akvavit that night, but it's worth seeking out - great fun when you end up with someone else's order!

...or maybe not so different.

Even today he was grandstanding on the news threatening Iran and proclaiming undying support for Israel, never mind all the tensions that causes in the area and the world.

A friend at our Chicago office is very involved with current affairs and says she has never heard anyone refer to his colour. Not once. Perhaps his (photogenically-pale) blackness is that "elephant in the room" Wogan referred to about Andy Abrahams, post Eurovision... or maybe Americans are more integrated than our own prejudices can accept?

But even given all that, I still can't help but think: a 300 million population and the best they can come up with is Obama, Clinton and McCain?

Favourite anagrams, anyone? (not necessarily cheese-based)

Just run two Eurovisions.

One for the Eastern bloc with their plinky plonky wail-y tosh, and one for the more melodic Western/Nordic countries. If any country from one contest really fancy their chances they can play in the other one. That'll sort the serious songs - if there are any - out from the novelty acts, and it might even be fair again.

Without such a radical change there will never be a hope of discovering another Abba. In fact if the "permanent" members (and biggest net contributors to EBU) UK, France, Germany and Spain all pull out it'll wither anyway, just like Jeux Sans Frontieres.

For what it's worth, I bet £25 on Ukraine. What a mug.

Oh man I love cheese! I wish I'd seen this one earlier but I've been in China for two weeks (working unfortunately).

Favourite soft cheese is Coeur de Lion's 'Pié d'Angloys'. Nothing like as poncey as it sounds, you can get it "at all good supermarkets", inexpensive... and deee-licious! Cambozola is very special too.

Favourite hard cheese either Lincolnshire Poacher if I'm flush, or Cathedral City if I'm not (as usual).

Boo hoo John. I've had it sometimes too, but stuffing your face till you chuck up is normally called "gluttony".

I'm sure the baked bean fans on Snackspot could better that trick.
