Had a small piece of a Nestle (Aero) Easter egg the other day and was shocked and saddened at how AWFUL it tasted. . .  :( What have they done??

Tenner to Comic relief I think.

When, and about what, did you last feel proper child-like excitement?

Me neither. Deep frying is so bad for you.

. . . so is chocolate and yet we're all here talking about how scrumptious it is. As long as we don't eat loads of it every day, or deep fry stuff every day, we'll be just fine.  :)

Anyway, you don't need a deep fat fryer, just a few inches of oil in a Mars Bar sized saucepan will do the trick.

Recipes / Chocolate yogurt

Reading a thread on chocolate yogurt, or rather the lack thereof, in another part of the forum made me think I should put this up. . .

Put a tub of Total Greek yogurt into a bowl and add several heaped dessert spoons of Nutella. Mix well, unless you'd like a marbled effect, and put in the fridge for a good few hours, or overnight if you can resist that long. Hey presto! The thickest, creamiest, luxurious - est (!) choc yog you could ever imagine!!!

Had some lovely chocolate yog in Ireland, but even that was a good six or seven years ago now. The brand was 'Sno' I think and it was quite a thick, almost set kind of yogurt if memory serves. Deeelish!!! Do us Brits not like chocolate yogurt then? I'd have thought we would. Anyway, if anyone's hankering after some creamy, chocolatey, yogurty delight, I suggest getting a tub of Total Greek yogurt and stirring in a good few heaped dessert spoons of Nutella. Best do this in a bowl so you can get a good mixing action going. Then comes the hard part: put it in the fridge for several hours, preferably overnight, rather than eating it straight away. If you long for chogurt you will LOVE this, guaranteed.

Did I notice a recipe section earlier. . . ? Maybe I should stick this in there too.

It's a mystery to me. I and my partner had our first Hershey Bar in the mall underneath the World Trade Centre when we visited NY in 96. I mean, everyone's heard of Hershey, right, so it must be good stuff, right. How would it get so well known otherwise, right. . . . . . . . ?

. . . . . . she had to spit it out, and was nearly sick, and I thought it tasted like dogs' chocolate*. Horrible, horrible, horrible!!! How on earth can anyone like it ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

*I was duped into eating some in the playground at primary school in case anyone's wondering. :D
