I recently had a birthday and for a prezzy my husband made me some mars bar chocolate vodka.
It is so simpe to make...
Melt 5 mars bars in a double boiler and add a bottle of vodka to the mixture a bit a time. Stir well, the caramel will be the last bit to melt, just make sure that you dont boil it as all the booze will eveaporate off.
When your done filter back into the bottle and put in th freezer.
It's really nice with lots of ice and a splash of cream or milk.
I just posted about flavour combinations, and a nice creamy blue cheese like dolche leche and a nice dark chocolate are just meant to be together. It really does work well.
My hubby likes chocolate spread and thinly sliced onion sandwhiches. It's not bad so long as the onion is sweet.
A favourite of mine is homemade chocolate truffles rolled in creamy blue cheese, it's a fantastic combination. I got the idea from heston blumenthal, apparently the two ingredients are meant to be paired together and who amI to argue, lol.
Hi everyone, this is my first post here, my names Dawn and I moved from the UK to Qatar just over a year ago and Qatari's have the most incredible sweet tooth.
I'm not sure if the UK has these but they are massive here, Galaxy Jewels, it is like the galaxy version of quality street or roses, only 1000 times better. My christmas cupboard will be brimming with them this christmas ( I'm a sucker for Galaxy )
