Title: V-Day '14
Post by: wjp666 on February 13, 2014, 03:39:19 am
Anyone got any sweet plans for this Friday for their SIGOT?

I've been in a steady relationship now for 15 years this year (eek!) but we always try to make an effort for St. Valentine. Well, I say effort... the last few years has been the two of us binging on lightly grilled slabs of deceased cow, drinking too much wine and ending up flaked out on the couch in front of utter tat by midnight. This year will most olikey be no different. Who said romance is dead?

Tell me what I'm doing wrong, people! I am genuinely open to suggestions here.

I am not eating or drinking naughty things at the moment because I have to get some weight off. That rules out chocolate, gooey cakes and so on. My hubby will be working Friday night but we can cosy up on Saturday with perhaps a music DVD.

We have clocked up 35 years together but romance gets better as you get older, I think. :)

So my attempt at a garlic sirloin went horribly wrong. Had to break out the ketchup halfway through just to salvage the meat. Oh well, it's the thought that counts I guess and Mrs. Triple-6 didn't seem to mind too much. KFC next year!

I am a complete bore when it comes to Valentines day I just don't celebrate it in any way..

Steak is always enhanced by good ketchup in my opinion. lol

Gotta be Heinz or Branston. Nothing else will do.
