i want a trio and i want one now


... but i can't because some clever dick decided in their infinite wisdom to cease manufacturing the king of all biscuit bars.


but why?

The toffee one ruled! Loved the little puzzles that were on the inside of the wrappers. Have they really stopped making them?

trios were horrible they can stay discontinued! that 'toffee' ....how could they call it toffee? !

Most people remember the Toffy Trios (though why didn't they spell the word the usual way 'ending in ee'?) which were in red wrapping but does anyone remember the Double Choc ones which were in dark blue wrapping?

Why did Jacob's (a subsidiary of McVitie's and KP which stands for 'Kenyon Produce') [all three which are subsidiaries of 'United Biscuits'] have to discontinue Trios  :(?

Trio's weren't that amazing. The toffee tasted a bit weird, possibly burnt! I can well imagine why they disappeared.

But the jingle 'a chocolatey biscuit and a burnt taste too' wouldn't be as catchy.

Yes, I'm sure we could do realistic jingles, in fact...
