Oim arf to Dorsett next week for a spot of country sunshine.
Staying at Weymouth and hoping for some good bird photos.
That's a thought. Jam and scones on the lawn.
Does that mean you are wanting to take your camera round to goldencups house?
You'd be welcome Bounty! Lots of stonechats, greenfinches and wagtails outside my house, plus a resident kestrel and the inevitable 5000 assorted magpies, pigeons and blackheaded gulls. Also rare green lizards just across the road on the clifftop.
I'll pass on the scones though, I've never been very domesticated!
Definitely all really nice birds, especially Stonechat and wagtails but rather common place. I will be concentrating on Cetti's Warbler and Dartford Warbler. Radipole Lake for the former and Studland Heath for the latter. Goldencup, can I get a bus to Studland from Weymouth?
Hengistbury Head (between Bournemouth and Christchurch) is good for Dartford Warblers. Not sure about the bus - will try and find out for you.
