My friend bought me one of the new Wonka bars today, the fudge one. It
was vrey nice, a bit melted cos of the heat but nice. It's got some
sort of soft chocolate centre with fudge bits in it.
7/10.

Sounds nice. I will try and get to Woolworths on Friday.
I work in London and Woolworths are hard to find in the city!
-
Really? Actually last time I was there I didn't see any at all. No doubt Cybercandy will have them though.
-

I know what you mean Choc Chick, when I am in London there are shops I hardly ever see and yet are common on most of the 'cloned' UK high streets. The only Woolies I know in London is in the shopping centre at the Elephant & Castle; it's quite out of the way.

I found one of the bars in a Sainsburys while I was in London last week. Think I was just lucky though.
-
I'm sure newsagents shall start selling them before long.

I work close by to Oxford Street and there is not one Woolworths. Its
quite frustrating as I can then only get to one at the weekends and
sometimes the urge has passed
Which part are you in Cherry Ripe? I think the Tottenham Court Road end
of Oxford Street could do with a vast improvement, some of the shops
are a waste of space.

Good detective work there smurfboy

My post code here is WC1E. i will have to look up how far they are away and take a walk one day.
-
I bought one of these today in Sainsbury's. Quite nice but nothing special. I still have some left, so it can't have been that great!
-
Anyone tried the Caramel ones yet? I hear they are white chocolate.
-
Got a Fudgemellow Delight from Sainsburys last night. Will report back as soon as I've scoffed it.
-
I should've read this earlier I could've said hi as I was on oxford street briefly on wednesday. Had lunch in debenhams before seeing guys+dolls at the piccadilly

Er, because he administrates the forum?

Both these shops are out of walking distance from where I work sadly.

I had one yesterday and they taste nice. Has a little lump of fudge in the middle.
-
You should be able to do a search by postcode on Yell Choccy Chick - there are 53 branches in London apparently.
-
Er, because he administrates the forum?
He has enough privelages, let's demand equal rights.
-
no
-
The thing is with editing postings is that it disrupts the flow of a topic, you can't have someone reply to correct you on something in your post because you can just go back and change it later which then makes their reply look odd.
I can edit, but I only usually use it to correct my own bad spelling, course I can also delete postings
-
Most of our replies look odd anyway
-
For those who cant get to woolies to by Wonka chocolate they can buy it at http://www.britishcandy.com

-
Believe me, it's not worth £1.89. Much cheaper in Sainsbury's (but still not very special).
-
Oh Britishcandy...how come you have a "Wonka Aero" in the hamper,
that's a cheat! There is no such thing as a "Wonka Aero" - it's just a
normal Aero with the wonka promotion on the wrapper - which is also on
other Nestlé products like fruity smarties, smarties big flavas, Kitkat
chunky and so on. And you dont have them in your hamper now do
you.

I don't doubt that britishcandy would stoop that low
-
cheeky git
-
There is going to be quite a few new Wonka sweeties out around Christmas time which will include a Smarties cane similar to the one Willy Wonka has in the new film.
Theres a few other Wonka products comming out later in the year but I cant remember anymore of them at the moment
-
It's about time I paid a visit to British Candy again. Incidentally British Candy has great Brand appeal, are you pushing yourself enough Candyman?
-
Oh yes we know about the canes. Sadly Fruity Smarties aren't very popular around here.
-
I dont like Fruity Smarties much either.
Bounty Hunter, I have asked the Oompa-Loompas to include extra free sweets in the parcel for anyone who types "chocolatereview member" in the gift message box when they order from us
-
Oompa, oompa, oompa-de-do....
-
How many 'extra free' sweets? *suspicious eyes*
-
-
kevvosa, you will find out if you order
-
Too much trouble there's a Woolies not 5 mins away from me! Just need to dip into the pick and mix.
-
I will order today and let you know if my free sweets are any good.
-
Are they any good?
-
Excellent.10/10. Black jacks, fruit salad, mojos, refreshers and anglo bubbly.
-
any more feedback on what the wonka bars are like? i cant eat them because im dieting
i sent my mum one (kind of by-proxy)..and she said it was ok but to save my money for thorntons...
-
I have only had the fudgemellow one. It's nice but nothing outstanding if you know what I mean. Nice though....
-
Fudgemellow 7/10
Caramel one (white choc) 5/10
Not trying the nut one because it doesnt contain real nuts
-
Here's one for you to find out about. We all know the three varieties
of Wonka bar - Fudgemallow, Nutty Crunch, Dazzle Caramel. So how come play.com
are starting to sell pillows with the same branding (ignoring how
bizarre this is to begin with), but with an additional flavour: Chilly Chocolate Crème. Anyone got any ideas on what that is?
-
Just spoken to Nestle press office. No plans to launch chilly chocolate creme as a product
(and it sounded so good).
-
I just love the whipple srumptious fudgemallow delight,
I keep having dreams on finding a golden ticket.
-
Good luck. I hope you do.
-
wonka bars just dont do anything for me, i had 1 o those fudgeymallow things the other day & i found it overly sweet & pretty dissapointing. Sorry mr wonka
-
The Wonka Smarties canes are a bit dissapointing, I was expecting them to be a lot better than that.
-
Thats the way i find all wonka products that ive tried, its like "oh is that it?"
-
I liked the white one with the caramel in. But I do have a very sweet tooth.
-
I tried a few of those new Wonka Bars and found them revolting. No quality at all just sugar more sugar, is there rearly any choc in those bars at all?
-
The Wonka Fruity Wobble drops are the best. I love them.
-
I like the fruity wobble drops as well.
I think these bars were more as adverts for the film as they are
featured in the film. But I have now heard that after the bars being so
popular, they are going to continue the range!
