Paint the whole world with a...
RAINBOW!!!
Welcome to the forum! Excuse me if I come across as a bit harsh and snobbish sometimes.
-
Hello GimmeTheSoddingChoc.
Thanks for your welcome and for the rainbow which is beautiful. :D
-
You're welcome :)
-
Welcome Rainbow! Always nice to see a new poster who actually sticks around for more than a day and doesn''t try to flog Uggs or something.
-
Thank you wjp666, it's lovely to meet you. :)
I'm so glad you're relieved that I'm not advertising something, I was starting to think I was letting you all down because I didn't have anything to sell.
Really not a huge fan of Uggs.. ;D
-
Welcome Rainbow - I don't post on here very often these days but am one of those still here after more years than I care to remember!
-
Hello goldencup.
Thanks for your welcome, it's good to meet you.
-
Hello, Rainbow. You appear to have stuck around. Please don't go away! :'(
-
Thank you for your welcome drterror_6_6_6.
Not planning on leaving any time soon. I'm having fun reading through the posts.
-
Yes, please stay! Can't remember the last new member we actually had here who stuck around. The lifespan of a new member is usually about 1.5 posts, so well done for surviving to 28.

Less than 2 posts? Wow! That's not good is it?
Were they all trying to sell something, or is it possible they just got lost in all the chocolate and wandered off?
-
Some seemed genuinely happy to find the forum and would write an opening monologues referring to 'many happy years of future posting' etc., then they'd just vanish. This site seems to swallow up new members like a vortex.

I shall have to watch out for that.
I will pretend I am playing the Adventure Game, step very carefully through the forum and hope I am not evaporated. lol
-
Be sure to test every step with your cheese roll... or something.

Now, there's a much missed programme. Did anyone ever work out the alien currency?
-
Drogna!
I loooved 'Uncle' the constantly angry potted plant who said nothing but 'gronda, gronda'. Ah, great days.

Ooh, Ooh.... I know how the currency worked.
The value was worked out by multiplying the number of sides/edges the coin had by the number position of it's colour on the rainbow spectrum.
1 = red
2= orange etc
So a green circle would be worth four points because it only had one edge/side and it's fourth in the rainbow. 1x4=4
A blue triangle would be worth 15 because it has three sides/edges and it's colour number is five. 3x5=15
I loved so much about that programme, most especially how they worked out the currency and that all the names of the regular participants from arg were anagrams of the word dragon, as was the collective name of the planet's inhabitants and the currency.
Just fabulous. ;D
Aww I miss it. lol
-
It used to scare me a bit as a chid, tbh.... moreson than Dr. Who.

You're welcome. ;D
I have watched far more adventure game than is good for me obviously. rofl.
-
The Adventure Game? That vortex used to freak me out!
-
I used to feel genuinely upset for the people who had to take the bus home.
-
Definitely one of my fave programs too - if they could bring this back (probably have to update the bit guiding dogran around the maze via a BBC), and the interceptor I'd be very happy.
-
OOOOOOOOHHHHHHH MAN! Did you just say the 'I' word? Take me down, Mikey! Twas my absolute fave gameshow e-e-ever.
-
I loved it too, it was awesome wasn't it? I watched re-runs on Sky a while ago, and I was really happy to find it was still great. lol
The guy who played the interceptor had the most wicked laugh I've ever heard.
-
Always a brilliant show. So much fun if you didn't really like the competitors and at the end of the show only one of their backpacks is still unlocked and it's the one without the money!
