I saw these in Tesco today and bought one. It's quite small bar that looks like two rows of flat Maltesers fused together. Inside there are small bits of Malteser in solid chocolate.
It was 57p (a lot for a bar that size, I think) and I thought it was too sweet. It's the amount of chocolate that makes it so sweet, I think, because I think it's cheaper chocolate than that on regular Maltesers.
I know I've always said I'd like a Malteser Bar, but what I meant was a Topic-sized bar, with quite thin chocolate and a huge chunk of solid malty bit - like a Crunchie.

From the title of this thread I thought it was about a Mars / Malteaser cross!! Better not give them ideas...

I do like them, its more like the Maltesers in the Celebration tins.

I like Maltesers, but I do find them very sweet and for me they can be sickly if I eat too many at once, so I don't think I could eat a bar of them all at once, not even a small one.
A bag of Maltesers can be resealed for a while with a peg and put in the fridge, but once I tear the wrapper on a bar of chocolate it's not as easy to save some for later. Somehow a half eaten bar of chocolate loses it's appeal in the fridge overnight.

A half eaten bar of chocolate? What is this thing you speak of??

The chocolate on Malteasers has become really sweet over the years. I can only imagine how much sugar has been piled into them these days. Too sickly for me.

There's a reason Malteasers dont have a lot of chocolate on them, Its Grim! so why on earth make a bar out of it.
