Title: BGT
Post by: wjp666 on June 01, 2011, 08:03:19 am
so own up... who's watching? anyone got any favourites? i think the overall 'talent' is pretty weak this year.

wanted those weird table-slappers to win last night, but it wasn't meant to be. i also like the nursery rhyme guy.

My name is Goldencup and I watch BGT!  Was wondering when someone would start a thread....I wasn't impressed with last night at all.  Jean wasn't even playing most of that on the keyboard - it's all programmed in.  And New Bounce were horribly out of tune at times.

i get the idea that BGT has simply sucked all the talent from britain over the last few years and there's not a whole lot left. i mean seriously - what was that terminator thing all about on monday?

The problem with 'undiscovered talent' is that most of it is undiscovered for a reason. That's why I get annoyed when people complain about X-Factor or BGT contestants having been in a band in 1998 or once appearing on Opportunity Knocks, saying 'they've had their chance'. God knows what dross we'd be left with if anyone with even the tiniest bit of experience is excluded...

what does everybody think about the big Ronan conspiracy theory circulating all over cyberspace? sounds about right to me.

That SyCo spotted him two years ago performing at a private party and has been grooming him for BGT ever since. On one hand it wouldn't surprise me, but on the other I don't see why they would've waited for two years - surely sweet 10 year-old singers are manna from heaven for a show like BGT?

according to the document, his nerves prevented him from performing for the last 2 years. apparently.

I don't believe it.  They are also saying that New Bounce have appeared on the West End which sounds quite possible.

Hmmmm, I wasn't!  Although he was more in tune than New Bounce.
