Did you all see the state of Princess Beatrice's wedding hat!   I laughed myself sick!

Yep really awful, her sister's hat wasn't much good either. Seems to have diverted attention away from samantha cameron not wearing a hat at all.

My sister was just carrying in the drinks tray when Princess Beatrice appeared with that hat - I don't know how she didn't drop it!  I thought it was a set of antlers.

I thought her whole outfit was awful. It was a very unflattering colour for such a young woman.

I thought the Princess Royal (Ann) looked lovely though.

Yes - Samantha Cameron wore a lovely colour but she did look a bit under dressed. A nice tasteful black hat would have looked good with her dress.

Victoria Beckham's hat reminded me of a Pontefract Cake or a cough lozenge.

I liked Zara Philips hat and that was about it.

I thought Countess Spencer looked nice, and I hate to say it, as I can't stand her, but so did Princess Michael. The York girls both seem to have inherited their mother's dress sense (or lack thereof), and Pippa Middleton looked lovely. I wasn't keen on that multicoloured affair Anne was wearing, but was far more interested in the way she looked at her husband. Sheer contempt is the only way to describe it.

Beatrice's hat made me laugh because when she got in the car after the service she was unable to sit upright and had to bend over in the car!!!

What was with the canoe-shaped hats worn in the centre of the head? Off-centre may have looked OK but in the middle looked very odd indeed.

My friend had some unopened xmas crackers so he opened them for the hats then glued pretzels on them so his daughters could play princesses for the day.  I see Beatrices hat is being auctioned on ebay and duncan ballatyne bid £5,000.

I think the bid is now up to £80 000 with money being split between Unicef and Children in Crisis so I suppose there's something to be said for having appalling taste if lots of kiddies are going to benefit from it!
