My boyfriend would like to know why Curly Wurlies are shorter than they used to be.

mmmmmm,Curly Wurlies,aaaghhhhhh....

I always wonder about them and the huge coconut and chocolate biscuits too. Were they bigger or was it just that our hands were smaller?

Deffo getting smaller, I have a choc bar wrapper collection going back to 1994 and even in that short time the wrappers (& the weight printed on them) have got a lot smaller. Twirls are so short nowadays.

I love a chocolate wrapper! I really need to sort mine out and get them into some kind of order

hahah is this a euphemism for something else?

Yeah i've recently started out on that little mission and its a slow old process :( 18 years worth of collecting wrappers and packets and all I had to show for it was 8 huge black sacks stuck in the spare room. One day last summer the mrs had enough of them and tipped the lot out on the living room floor, forcing us to crack on and get them done.
Once sorted into Cadbury, Nestle', Mars etc then alphabetically by product name the task seemed a lot less daunting. I just pritt-stick them onto A4 paper and put them in plastic sleeves in ring binders. Everyone who comes round looks through them and although they usually take the mick at first they always become engrossed when the memorys of long since deleted bars come flooding back. It really makes the anorak-ishness worthwhile.

I had the idea of putting them into those sticky photo albums but have never got around to it. Mine are currently in shoes boxes in particular order!

I always thought it was because in the old days my hands were smaller.... looks like I was wrong.
