I was completely disgusted to see a staff member wheeling into place a huge Creme Egg display in W H Smiths on Boxing Day! In Tesco this week a display of Easter products sits next to old Christmas stock being sold off. It's completely mad.

Yep, I was saying exactly the same thing yesterday.  There is a Creme Egg display in our local Sainsburys next to the Christmas crackers.

What surprises me is that they haven't yet started selling Christmas choc as soon as Easter is over :-)
I've got one of the new Aero Lamb things, I wonder if it'll be any good.

I am new to this site and couldn't help notice the posts re Easter eggs on sale already. The fault lies with the consumer.
I work in Wholesale and have been buying pallets of Creme eggs for weeks now, our Cash and Carry's sell them and those that buy them, sell them on. The bottom line is that if there was no demand out on the high st then they would not sell.
All retailers are in the market to sell goods to make a profit and if Joe Public buys the eggs cause they want them then where is the problem?

But that is not why I joined this group, I collect wrappers. Not just Chocolate and related items ( though they fill 4 folders) but also sugar wrappers, bottle labels, can labels, crisp packets, ice lolly wrappers and much more besides.

I am keen to swap with like minded collectors as I have a bin bag full of stuff to utilise. The stuff isn't old or specialised enough for ebay and I would rather swap than sell to increase my own collection.
Any one interested?
