ITS Caburys with milk and white chocolate! its actually nice
-
Haven't heard of this one.
-
Spots vs Stripes - it's on sale in Tesco now. The 'hook' is that there's a challenge on the inside of every wrapper, but it's nothing exciting; mine was 'challenge your mates to a game of bin basketball' (woo-bloody-hoo). The bar itself is very moreish though :p
-
I had one of these ages ago (or it seems like ages anyway, back in the real 'summer') - very nice indeedy!
-
Yes indeed I think the bar is really rather nice, and I actually find the whole campaign quite enjoyable. I know you could argue it's a feeble attempt to justify Cadbury's involvement in the Olympics but you have to let the cynicism go once in a while :-P
-
I had one of these tonight and found it really rather good. I'll definitely be buying again. Also - I like the size of the bar. It';s just enough for one sitting!
-
is it possible to post pics of chocolate in here so I can long more
-
Long more? What?
-
I think we should perhaps amend the title of this thread.
'Carburys Sport V Strips'
Should actually be Cadbury's Spots V Stripes!
-
Well, I wasn't going to mention it, but...
-
....well it might cause confusion!
-
Looks like it's been changed now.
-
Yay, thanks Chocadmin!
-
The challenge bar is seriously moreish, its pretty chunky and great straight from the fridge. The Spots & Stripes campaign is a pain in the arris for wrapper collectors like myself though with more & more cadbury's bars coming out with either spotty or stripey wrappers; then the multipack bars are different from the single bars, and the multipack wrapper itself is either spotty or stripey too! Nightmare!
-
How many wrappers have you got?
-
A rough count is about 600to700, 27 of those are spot&stripe related so far. quite scary when I think 98% of those were eaten by me; how i've got to 31 without a single filling i'll never know ???
Im finally finding the time now to get them out of the black sacks they're slung in and organise them into folders, been at it for weeks now ::)
-
Have you thought of making a website?
-
It has crossed my mind. Once they are all opened out, cleaned & sorted into folders I will probably make a facebook page or something along those lines. Facebook has a few 70s & 80s crisp bag dedicated pages so would be good to get a choc related one going.

I'm sure we'd all look forward to that.
