Anyone else watching this?
-
not me.
-
I tried....
-
Na, I remember it all the first time round....
-
What, as in Life On Mars?
-
not me.
I would have thought this would have been right up your street. Final series is looking good.
-
What, as in Life On Mars?
No, as in I was alive and kicking at the time these series are set and remember the 70s vividly. I remember Aztec Bars, Ford Granadas, Party Sevens, kipper ties, round shirt collars and being an opressed female.
-
As Life On Mars was initially set in 1973, that would have made me 3 going on 4!
-
I was 15 going on 16 (I feel like someone from the cast of The Sound of Music)
-
i was about -4, so needless to say my memories of the time are a bit faded.
-
Still, Life On Mars and Ashes To Ashes are some of the best TV ever!
-
never really watched either. how does L.O.M. compare to the US version, by the way? i'm hearing alot about how the yanks actually made a remake that was better than our original, for once.
-
Er, it bombed in the US as they weren't ready for that kind of retro telly. Only lasted one season with a real cop out ending. The British Life On Mars is far, far superior; much more sinister and mind-bending! Plus, you have to look out for all the Wizard Of Oz parallels.
-
might give it a watch one day when it gets a repeat. as for now, i'm sticking with Lost.
-
i'm lost with lost
-
Lost will disappear up its own arse in the last episode! :D
-
i'm going to be very disappointed if the finale of Lost has ANYTHING to do with aliens.
-
Americans cannot do quirky when it comes to sci-fi. It'll either be a giant alien experiment or they'll all wake up in the future as part of an experiment. You'll see...
-
Some of them lost people are in flashforward just to confuse me some more.
-
Oh, no, not FlashForward! That's one series heading for the chop!
-
I try watching for about 10 minutes then i think i'd rather be doing something more interesting like cleaning the oven. ;)
-
It all ends this Friday!
-
and 'Lost' ends the friday after that!
-
I know which one I'll be sad about when it's gone.
-
my fridays just wont be the same without the smoke monster.
-
hoorah
-
I may as well dump the TV, etc, etc...
-
Yes dump it and take up knitting and sudoku.
-
Well, I watched the final episode of Ashes To Ashes and thought it was great. The amount of ground they covered in that one episode was astounding. I ain't saying too much, though, because some people may not have seen it yet.
-
I see the final episode of Lost is aired 5am on monday morning so it can be shown around the world at the same time.
-
yes, i just found that out. how awesome is that? anyone else getting up at 5am on monday, or is it just me?
-
Definitely just you. Ever thought of recording it?
-
My friends are all planning to record it but get up at 6 and watch it before going to work, determined they will not hear the outcome from other people.
I've never followed it so god help anyone trying to discuss it with me on monday.
-
well, it was a big letdown. absolutely no questions were answered and nothing was really resolved. i feel a little ripped off. (although at least it wasn't aliens.)
-
Did they all wake up in the shower then?
-
What, they actually left it for the viewer to work it out?! Wow, I'm impressed!
-
they might as well have had a bobby ewing cameo. that's how much of a cop out it was.
-
Apparently, from what I've read, some stuff has been left unanswered, such as what those numbers meant. It has completely split the fan base. My guess is that the writers had absolutely no idea where they were taking the series.
-
Has Ashes to Ashes finished now? Did they all wake up in the shower?
-

They were hurleys lottery numbers. He believed the numbers were cursed cos he was a lottery winner and he thought it brought him nothing but unhappiness in real life. There.
-
Has Ashes to Ashes finished now?
No, they were all in cop limbo and there was a battle between the forces of light and dark at the end. Light won.
-
This is why i stay in my comfort zone and watch cartoons.
-
I like Shaun The Sheep :)
-
I like Dora the Explorer.
