we have a wispa, Aero and now Mars company has got in on the act.
Im not sure if this is the right name, but its a good start,
Have anyone tried it yet?
-
CDM Bubbly seems to have bitten the dust :( so I'll certainly try this/these as an alternative.
-
Galaxy chocolate is vile! Count me out.
-
I've not seen it anywhere but there is a review on Jim's chocolate mission - doesn't sound very inspiring though. Bit of a cash in on the recent popularity of Wispa if you ask me.

i hate galaxy now used to taste lovely back in the 80s but since they changed the taste i dont bother with them now ive switched to yorkie now i mean they still taste the same so why mess about with galaxy and change what used to be a perfectly good bar of chocolate
-
I think the above post should be banned on the grounds that it is a crime against grammar and punctuation.
Sorry for being a snob...
-
dr terror i dont understand all that gramma stuff so i just thought id post my comments about how chocolate used 2 taste
-
no forum is complete without a spelling and/or grammar nazi :P
-
I'm more concerned that someone would prefer Yorkie to Galaxy ;)

You betcha! Oops... :D

I'm amazed anyone would eat either!
-
because with yorkie the taste is still the same and they dont mess about with the recipe galaxy 4 the record in my book now tastes awful since they made it smoother but thats my opinion
-
Are you sure about that? Im sure Yorkie is different!
-
because with yorkie the taste is still the same
Yorkie is definitely different. I remember when it first came out and it would take you ages to eat one because they were so solid. The chocolate was definitely a better flavour as well. Nowadays, it's a bit nasty and full of vegetable oil to make it softer.
-
I agree - Yorkie is totally different from how it used to be. It's kind of soapy now whereas you used to risk your teeth biting into it!
-
bought a yorkie 2 day and can see what u mean now me nephew was saying bout it as well i chewed it a bitlonger and can now see the diffrence but at least the wispa bar is still the same though but how long before thats gone. have 2 face it though chocolate is not what it used 2 be 80s days u could get all sorts cabana bar pacers the five centre bar amazing raisen texan they tried bringing that back just recent it was dreadful the taste on it. golden cup was anorther good one again discontinued i swear they do it on purpose cause the sweet firms no us the public r not happy but its prolley down to the save money on cheaper stuff to make the sweets and chocolate with anything to save money. there is a saying though if a jobs not worth doing rite its not worth doing at all and thats what these firms r doing now changing the texture and taste and skimping on what used to be good quality stuff had 2 be said
-
Wow, this stuff is like stream of consciousness!!!
-
Yorkie is also a lot sweeter than it used to be. I don't like Galaxy either anymore. It's a bit waxy and it makes the bacl of my throat burn. It just goes to show what we have to look forward to when Kraft start making Cadbury chocolate.
-
at least the wispa bar is still out thx god same taste same texture
-
Yorkie is my all time least fave chocolate.
-
I keep considering buying Galaxy Bubble but it looks a very small bar for quite a lot of money to me.
-
It was on special the other day in Tesco. I loikes it, I does.
-
It's Galaxy. Galaxy is vile stuff. Nuff said...
-
I'm not keen on Galaxy.
-
One of these just came into the warren for testing today and we thought it was OK *twitches nose*. I quite like Galaxy. It's far better than Cadbury's and Nestles.
-
Anything that is to do with Galaxy chocolate is pure anathema.
-
I've not heard that word anathema before. Googled it ...does it just mean evil?
-
I quote:
a person or thing detested or loathed.
So there you go.
-
and would i pronounce it anna thee ma cos its my new fave word if i can say it proper.
-
The first two a's are pronounced like 'a' in apple and then a 'the' instead of 'thee'. And then you've got a new favourite word.
