This is really sad news :(
In tribute, some of my favourite Blanche quotes:
'Good looks can be a curse Deirdre. You and Ken ought to count yourselves lucky!'
'Shelley Unwin's as weak as this tea. Put another bag in!'
'Ken recently had an affair with an actress. Oh, it wasn't Nicole Kidman or Glenda Jackson. She lived on a tugboat!'
On Deirdre turning down Ken's proposal again: 'Ken'll only go down on one knee so many times Deirdre - and if you leave it much longer at his age, next time he might not be able to get back up again!'
When Liz is staying and has used all the milk: 'It's like having a giant blue tit in residence!'
When Liz leaves her washing lying around: 'Do you think Ken wants to look at thongs all day? He's an intellectual!'
