Did anyone watch the programme where he tried to make people stick to their chairs? Did it work for you?

Yes, but only because my big, fat bum was crammed into a chair meant for a six year old!!

i watched the video a few times, and nothing happened for me, sadly. very disappointed. it is interesting stuff, though.

i have been hypnotised multiple times (not that this was strictly hypnotism, of course - but it was similar), and i am extremely hard to hypnotise properly, apparently (though i have been properly 'under' at least 2 times)... so i'm wondering if this is where the problem was.

getting less impressed with this series as it goes on. Normally quite impressed with Derren's trickery but a bit of weak hypnosis isn't that entertaining. Highlight so far was the bit of non-transitive gaming in the lottery episode (the game with coin flipping).
Let's hope the next episode is better.

I was a bit disappointed and i bet Derren was too when the viewer to ring in and say they were stuck in the chair was a stupid bratty 10 yr old kid who said he could stand up but then needed to sit again. I blame the childs mother for it.

It's nice to see old friends. I wish Scampy would pop in more often - and I'd like to hear more from Smurfy - and Oh ! I do muss Paulham!
