so go on then - how do you think he's gonna do it? (if, indeed, he does.)
i think the only way to do this is to take advantage of the broadcast delay that most live shows like the lottery draw usually have on them.
-
Well i hope he has his ticket on.

I agree broadcast delay, or introduced delay is the only obvious trick. As it's Derren though he could've come up with something devious using his dark jedi powers ;)
-
the only other thing i can think is that those balls he was using to show his prediction weren't ordinary balls... perhaps they were somehow able (through LED or whatever) to be programmed to show whatever numbers he wanted them to (and some guy backstage punched in the numbers to a computer when they were drawn etc.)
oh, i don't know - it was pretty impressive, however he did it.
-
I think, like all of his 'magic', it was just an illusion. I'm not convinced he'll reveal how it was done, but we'll see
-
i don't believe any of the techniques mr. brown disclosed to us friday night - it's all a cover. i think the only way he could do it was - as i said previously - with special balls with little led screens that could be changed at a moments notice. so there.

As someone with a statistical background, I can safely say the methods he 'disclosed' on Friday are complete bunkum. It is simply not possible to predict the lottery.
However he did what he did, it was clever and I can't explain it. An important point as I'm sure everyone here has noted, is that he revealed his 'prediction' after the draw.
IMHO, far more entertaining was the David Blane 'What is magic' programme on Friday night.

I quite fancy Derren Brown but David Blaine still creeping me out.
