They used to be 75p; a perfect pocket money price. Bizarrely, there used to be a very good selection of them at our local Do-it-All!

I remember when they were 2/6 - twelve and a half pence in new money!

They do, but they also have to give them John and John, Jane and Jane, and Harvinder and Ranjit books at the same time in case there's any suggestion that children should aspire to being white heterosexuals.
