Title: Mintesers?

Is it true?  Were there really small chocolate balls with a minty honeycomb centre?  What happened to them?

They were apparently around in the mid-60's.

Well, I was around then, but not very old. However, I do remember some products from that era - but not these strangely enough. I wonder why they didn't last? I would have though they were popular.

From what I've read, the bags of normal Maltesers were red with a similar ribbon design, the Mintesers were in a white bag with a green ribbon.

I don't remember them either but having now Googled, they do appear to have existed.  Bring em back!
