Up in the bar where the Arcade is located, there is a chat option.  If I try to access it, it won't let me in.  Is it working?

I get the same thing, "an error has occurred" - I had always put that down to me being on a work computer though!

I wondered whether the 'chat' option was actually the shout box?

Type something into the shoutbox and you will appear as a number in "chat".

That's what I thought. I didn't think there was any point in having both features.

it's a big version of the shoutbox - if you're really getting into a conversation :)
Not sure about errors though - loads fine for me.

Yep me too.  I'm always intrigued when it says down the bottom of the screen that so-and-so is in chat but nobody else appears to be online.
