OK, so Kellogg's sent me this amazing press release/promo pack for this new flavour of krispie squares (even the press release itself was edible!). So here's a mini review of the product.
I personally am not too much of a fan of the normal squares (mainly coz they're too chewy) - if you want something like that you could make them yourself, or my personal favourite use cornflakes or frosties and chocolate :-P
This new variety is heavy on the chocolate and really rather nice. Still a little on the chewy side but a good improvement on the other varieties. My favourite kellogg's snack is still the coco rocks bar but as far as chocolate oriented cereal snacks go this is still right up there.
If you're looking for a more in depth review check out Jim's analysis here.
Oh and Kellogg's if you're reading this I'd really appreciate bringing some American flavours of pop tarts over here - come on, who can deny the greatness of brown sugar cinnamon...

Dear Mr Hamilton
Thank you for getting in touch to ask about Kellogg's Cinnamon and Brown Sugar Pop Tarts.
I was delighted to hear how much you enjoyed this product – it’s great that you had a chance to try it.
We find that tastes tend to vary from country to country, and that a product that may be very popular abroad is less so in the UK. At the moment, I’m afraid we have no plans to introduce it in this country.
But I’ve passed your comments on to my colleagues in our marketing department. They’re always reviewing our products from around the world to see if they might work in another market. Our customers’ views and opinions have a strong bearing on their decisions, so you never know!
Kind regards

-
Yes!

Back to the original topic, I tried these Totally Chocolatey thingies a few days ago and was very underwhelmed.
-
I'm underwhelmed by most things.
-
I haven't even shown you it!
-
I've seen the photos and heard the rumours.
-
Those rumours have no substance.
-
Yes the phrase no substance was used too.
-
I find that very hard to swallow.
At least I think she said that.....
