Hi everyone! Just popping in while I've got internet access. Hope you're all okay  :) New job is good, but Slough is the place fun forgot - roll on the day I can afford London...

Have I missed anything good?

Slough is a nightlife-free zone Lou. It seems to close at 6pm, and to be honest, I wonder why they bother opening in the first place.

Not really; the main population is immigrants. There's just nowhere to go or do anything apart from the cinema. I think because it's so close to London no one bothers investing in a social life there.

In a taxi it would be horrendously expensive, I imagine. The fast train takes about 15 - 20 minutes.

Slough has been like that.

Windsor has a bit more than Legoland to offer! And if you hang around long enough, you get to pick on the Eaton lads on their lunch breaks. Your one and only chance to beat the crap out of a future MP or fat cat of industry.
