We're going on a journey to the edge of sanity, the walls of reality, or something like that. Anyway, I was bored at work and decided I wanted to hurt some people's brains...
Does anyone here question the universe they live in? How big is it? Does it have walls? Imagine it doesn't. Imagine that it's just part of one infinite stretch of darkness. How does that feel? How can that be? If the universe we live in does have a barrier, what's on the other side? Ooh, that's freaky! :o
Now, if that thought was scary, what about time? This universe was created by the Big Bang, this is accepted. There are probably many Big Bangs happening all over an infinite expanse. So, how long has this infinite expanse been here? You see, if it began somehow, what was before it? That's doubly freaky! :o :o
Face it that, in a world where we say so much is impossible or supernatural, we have to accept that we live amongst an infinite expanse that had no beginning and will probably never end. :o :o :o
Sleep well... ;)

I just live in my own little bubble and think about chocolate. Does that help?

It's safer that way...

OK, if your in to hurting heads...
Pi... you know, 3.1415926.....
Ok, answer this, Why.
Its all around us, in action, we see it in buildings and in plants and animals, us, in math and science and the universe... why is something we can not touch have such an important part in our daily life? More importantly, what is Pi...
-
Hey, you like circles, you like Pi. Simple! Did you know that someone did a book that was just the Pi number? I would say that I was waiting for the film, but Johnny Ball beat me to it.
It's just science and the universe at the end of the day.
-
Without Pi, where would we be?
Even the top scientists can't tell you what Pi is, sure that can recount its value, that in itself is not Pi, Pi is soemthing you can not touch directly, we know it exists but what is its purpose?
Why Pi. Why cant it be 7 or 1.2 or -1? Why has it got to be 3.141592564
and... why does it work?
-
Because it does! And it's infinite!
-
But is the universe infinite? or does Pi dictate otherwise...
-
Mentalist! ;) :D
-
Further to our coversation about Pi, the universe is full of circles, although most of them aren't perfect. You won't find a square planet out there, unless it was artificially formed, that is. Pi is everywhere!

The answer to the meaning of life is... Pi.
-
No, it's 42. Everyone knows that. ;)

You been watching too much HHGTG.
This is the cosine of Pi 0.99849714986386383363576448540881 (Mmmmm Nice isn't she.)

Mmmmmmm! Pi!

The number 9 is weird! No matter how you multiply it, it always comes back to 9. For example, 9x9=81 therefore 8+1=9! 9x5468=49212 therefore 4+9+2+1+2=18 therefore 1+8=9!
I'm sure Johnny Ball probably beat me to this one, but it's definitely strange!
-
It's my lucky number on the roulette table.
-
Hmmm, Doc... 9 x 0 = 0.
-
Hmmm, Doc... 9 x 0 = 0.
Yes but add 9 to the 0 and you have 9! Weird or what!?
-
You're a real Carol Vorderman aren't you.
-
I'm no slapper who'll whore herself for thruppence ha'penny.
-
She doesn't get that much since her facelift that went wrong.
-
A bit more than Richard Whiteley, though.
-
oohhhhhhh harsh!
-
" 1 from the top, 4 from the middle and 1 from 6 foot under, please."
-
:o
-
The dead?! That Carol vorderman! More like the bloody living dead!!
-
Hmmm, Doc... 9 x 0 = 0.
No-one likes a smart arse! ;)

Yes but add 9 to the 0 and you have 9! Weird or what!?
At a stretch.
