Title: Best New Choc Product of 2008
Post by: smurfboy on December 14, 2008, 02:52:06 pm: It's that time of year again - our annual poll to find the best new choc product of 2008! Quite a small crop this year; the big boys don't seem willing to experiment in tough economic times...

I can't say it often enough, because every year someone moans about it (and probably still will) - THE POLL IS FOR MAINSTREAM PRODUCTS, AVAILABLE FREELY FROM A RANGE OF RETAILERS. You will NOT find Thorntons, Hotel Chocolat or the little chocolatiere you found that time on a weekend break in here; it's a fairer vote if we only include things everyone will have had a chance to try.

Thorntons is fairly mainstream... seen them stocked in WHSmiths, Sainsbury's and even Woolworths (when they were still around)
