Young's Seafood, the leading brand in frozen fish, announces that, for the third year running, it holds the number one spot as Britain's favourite frozen ready meal - Admiral's Pie.
Young's Admiral's Pie, made with wild Alaskan Pollock in a rich and creamy butter sauce and covered with mashed potato, has a brand value of £11m with sales of over 11 million packs a year. In fact, one pie is eaten every three seconds.

So. Who here is partial to a bit of Admiral's Pie, or is it too fishy for you?

Well, being a veggie...
My favourite pies are from the organic grocer, Abel & Cole. They do a Curried Coconut & Vegetable one (which is Tikka Masala by any other name), a Ratatouille and Feta one, which is just amazing, and a Spicy Bean one, which is also lovely. It's all about taste, you know.

Are those available nationally?

If you go to http://www.abelandcole.co.uk/Home.aspx (http://www.abelandcole.co.uk/Home.aspx), they have a postcode selector. They deliver to quite a few places by the look of it. The pies are a bit pricey, but believe me when I say they're worth it.
This is beginning to sound like one of those spam posts! :o

Remind me not to visit you two when you have had one of those!
You must levitate for hours after eating one of those (cushion of air).

My favourite frozen ready meal is M&S Fisherman's Pie. It's prime cod in a mornay sauce with a potato topping. It's expensive at £3.99 but cheaper and healthier than a portion of fish and chips. Lovely with crusty bread and a salad. :)
