I did too.  I used to work in a Police Station (as a Civilian) and that programme was scarily close to real life!

But, at least footballers money comes from the clubs and the supporters. You have a choice about that.


Police money comes out of the taxes we pay, therefore is all of our businesses.


Same as firemen, dont get me going on the firemen. They went for a 40% increase, which was a flaming joke. Then, their increase is agreed in two stages. One part now, and one part when they complete the reforms to improve the service and cut unnecessary costs.


They dont complete the reforms so dont get the second increase, so its dummy out the pram and time to strike again. I have no sympathy for them at all in that situation.

I just think they are cheeky for asking for all the money,even though they havent kept their side of the bargain, if i was the cheif or whatever i would tell them to his my a**
