Title: "Fry-tfully delicious" ice cream

Ice-cream firm Ben & Jerry's has made a special batch of a sophisticated creation dreamed up by Stephen Fry.

Fry visited the factory in Vermont, Virginia while filming Stephen Fry In America and was allowed to create a flavour for a public tasting session.

"I do love vanilla," he declared as he added chocolate chunks and walnuts to vanilla ice-cream.

He said he liked the way the chocolate was in chunks rather than small pieces and said walnuts would add "a touch of sophistication"

The actor described the flavour as "marvellous" and said it gave "that feeling of comfort that ice-cream delivers".

Now he can tuck into a tub named Even Stephens, in the comfort of his own home after the firm made a batch.

The special tub describes the taste as "Fry-tfully delicious".

I still dislike all ice cream. It's those germs in Mr Whippys scoop put me off.

I love Ben and Jerry's, but that flavour doesn't really inspire me.

I was hoping when I saw the title of the thread that someone might have made a Fry's Chocolate Cream ice cream :(
