Title: Site Progress: Image Sizes

A little while ago I standardised the sizes of images in the review towards pixel count rather than based relative to their size in the real world. Thumbnails are 80px wide and all other images are 200px wide.
As we rapidly approach 600 products in the review I wondered whether any of you think the sizes should be tweaked (particularly as we all no doubt have bigger monitors now). Almost all older products (I'm missing a small handful of originals) were scanned at 100dpi which equates to a maximum size for wrapper pics of about 500px (there are only a few products that are significantly smaller than this and all recent scans are at 300dpi).
Anybody have any thoughts on how big they'd like images to be, or if you'd like optional high-res versions linked somehow?

I have a 19incher!  My mate now has about 24 incher,  it still depends,  the thing is BBc still has a very fast website because everything is kept under 100kb  expect video of course but that keep it moving!

so it may be better to keep thing simple
