I read this a while ago. That is why most small shops keep the razors and coffee behind the counter. These items are easily re sellable so attractive to the thief. Shampoo was on the list too.

Ah, you mean most commonly stolen items from shops.  I had visions of gangs of burglars breaking into houses to steal their coffee.....

I knew about the razor blades and, quite frankly, in this day and age, I am surprised. How many people still use razor blades?  Don't most people use electric razors? What else are razor blades used for?

Most people I know still use razors - electric shavers just don't shave close enough. Unfortunately I don't think it's for shaving purposes that people are stealing them.

You can poison yourself using one of these to shave your bum.
I think it's called arse-a-nick.

I feel a bit daft now as I have just remembered that some people use them to cut their drugs (and their wrists I know, but there can't be a huge number of razor thieves nicking them to do that). You wouldn't believe that I help out with a drugs awareness course at college would you?

I don't know many men who use electric razors. They say the same as smurfy that they don't shave close enough. I used a bic on my legs the other day and cut myself 4 times, blood everywhere. I laugh when i see old men that have cut themselves walking about with bits of tissue stuck to their faces.
