Post by: paulham on August 16, 2008, 06:36:40 pm: Bolt was amazing in the 100m final. I have to say though that he may regret not running flat out for the whole 100m. He says he came to win and wasn't bothered about the world record. If he had been he might have achieved 9.5 secs or less. Who knows what lies around the next corner? Imagine he picks up a career ending injury in the heats for the 200m!

Have to wait and see for the 200, perhaps he'll do the same?!?! (I doubt it though)
Does anyone else feel a little twinge of national pride at just how well we're doing at the moment? - cycling has been particularly awesome - ok i know we're likely to slip down the medals tables during the track and field events but still...
