Title: This hot weather
Post by: paulham on July 29, 2008, 07:35:20 pm
...has been crap for keeping and eating chocolate.  :-[
I have had to freeze a lot or pop it in the fridge.
Lidor darks are lovely frozen.
You can suck them hard till you get blood blisters on the insides of your cheeks.

I never put chocolate in the fridge. All too often it gives it that horrible bloom.

I am enjoying this weather, although i have been very busy for nearly two weeks stripping out and re-fitting the study.  I find Idon'rt want to eat chocolate when it's hot outside. Chocolate is a winter comfort for me. Right now I am trying to get outside as much as possible, even if it's only to eat my cornflakes in the garden each morning. I don't sun bathe, I just need to see daylight and feel the warmth. I dread the winter. I cannot stand going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark. The thing that most spoils summer for me is the dread in the pit of my stomach that winter is lurking.

I agree the hot weather is inconvenient - I have plenty of choc to scan and put online but it'll just melt if I try and handle it. Am hoping it'll cool down a bit soon before I get too much of a backlog (hot weather doesn't stop me eating choc though :) )
