Title: Tea and biscuits revival at Tesco
Post by: paulham on July 22, 2008, 07:59:12 pm
[Tesco is this week giving away free tea and biscuits at 252 stores across the UK.

Packets of Tetley tea and Maryland cookies will be given away to customers who spend £30 or more, while stocks last.

Larger stores across the country are taking part.

Tesco claims the move is a bid to revitalise the 200-year-old tradition of the Great British tea break, which has been eclipsed by the rise of coffee culture over the past 10 years.

Great! Why not just reduce your prices?
Tetley Tea!? I wouldn't use it to wash my shitty knickers!

It makes me laugh how Tesco keep on about all their recent price cuts - I can name more than one product that has doubled in price in the couple of months! Funny they don't mention that in the ads...
