[Cadbury Trebor Bassett (CTB), the UK's No. 1 confectionery manufacturer, is revealing a new look for Cadbury Dairy Milk.]
The updated packaging will be launched this March to meet changing consumer trends
WTF!?
What changing trends requires new packaging.
-
Is it just me or does this 'new look packaging' look exactly the same as it does now?!
17m to design, launch and market this. I'm in the wrong job...
-
I've seen these. My guess is it's something to do with making the packaging more recyclable (or from more recycled material). The new packets are much less shiny - matt rather than metallic.
-
Why did,
"I know, let's make it more environmentally friendly",
cost 17m to come up with?
Heck I could have thought of that and I'd only have charged them half the price!
-
I could produce a lot more for 17m.
-
Still, this looks different, eh?
[
Using contrasting warm hues and subtle tones of purple and flowing, bespoke typography, the new design drives on the warmth of this iconic brands personality, enhancing its emotional connection with consumers.
The entire typeface is embossed in order to bring out the layers of mystery and excitement around the brand.]
Quick! Where can I buy this new and exciting product?
-
-
'The mystery and excitement around the brand?'
What mystery is that then? Does the consumer ponder "I wonder what's inside this caramel cup?" Or perhaps they pontificate "I'm SOOOOO excited by this praline surprise!!! What CAN the surprise be!! Could it possibly be PRALINE????"
-
No, the surprise is NO praline!
