Title: Cadbury Lemon Cheesecake!
Post by: cleverdick on March 17, 2008, 09:32:04 pm

Imagine a Dairy Milk bar, with a lemon and biscuit cream filling, and you should get the picture.  It's part of their "Dairy Milk Desserts" range, and boy is it nice or what?  All the way from New Zealand no less AND with a PROPER FOIL wrapper with PAPER jacket!!!Tongue  (None of this plastic bag nonsense.)

We just have to accept that Cadbury's have all but abandoned the UK market, judging by the c**p they put out on general release.  It's a snub to the very people that have supported that company through thick and thin, but there you are.Angry

I bought mine from Cyber Candy when I visited their store in London - sadly their delivery charges are obscene, so it might pay to make a multiple purchase!Wink

Actually, I've just had another 8 squares and can now report that it doesn't have biscuit in it.  Just lemon fondant.  The biscuit was obviously a figment of my imagination.  Still damn nice though!Embarrassed

Cadbury thinks the Brits are boring old farts who are not worthy of something as radical as this.

I'm not sure I fancy this personally, but I'm all for choice so I'd be happy to see this get an introduction in the UK.

As long as it doesn't have any of that pineapple filling in it, it might sell here.Wink

Lindt do a Lemon Tart chocolate in their Petit Desserts range which is amazing...it has bits of biscuit and meringue in the lemon filling. It's available at Waitrose.

If it's anything like the Boysenberry Shortcake, there are biscuity bits in the filling.
