Title: The Chocolate Mission
Post by: Jim@Chocolatemission on February 17, 2008, 12:01:24 pm
Hi everyone - Im new here my names James...and im an alcoholic LOLLOL crummy joke sorry. Im actually a chocaholic.

I just thought it would be cool to share with everyone a new website called 'The Chocolate Mission' which I started at the start of 2008.

Its slowly gethering pace but it would be great to actually reach some people like yourselves that might appreciate it.

In short at the start of the year I decided to 'find the best chocolate bar in the world'....one hell of a mission I know...but a rather enjoyable one if I say so myself. To save myself wittling on the adress is:

www.chocolatemission.blogspot.com

Would be great if some of you would check it out :)

If I could get my hands on a Picnic bar I'd be happy. Hardly anyone stocks them now. None of the big stores in my region has them.

Nope. Almonds ain't crunchy to me. They are "squeaky" when you bite them.

Spot on there!

You just have to love the Galaxy Caramel...anyone that dosnt needs their heads examining.

As for the almonds being squeaky...I can see what you mean...definately compared to other fruit and nut bars which have Hazelnuts instead they are quite as crumbly...maybe thats something I will mention when I get around to reviewing the Galaxy version of fruit & Nut....if I could just track down a bar of it Angry its proving a tad elusive from my sources at the momment.

Paul I really appreciate your feedback thanks! If you get around to reading anymore it would be awesome if you could leave your comment on the post then maybe other people can add to it...should I ever be so lucky to get people to read it that is :) :)

Got some real treat lined up this week...just got a load new imports...and also found a Wispa today in WHsmiths @ Gatwick airport :D :D winner!

Not much use calling a bar by a name that's 17 years out of date when you're reviewing it though!

I think I just don't respond well to change!
And your point is very valid smurfboy, and of course I completely agree with you.

If I was being serious and not just trying to have a little fun it would be even more valid still. But never mind, it's still a good point, I promise in future I will try to be more up to date and current. Smile

Snickers, Snickers, Snickers.... Nope it still sounds more like the noise a horse makes when it's pleased to see you.

I've just come back from Ireland where Snickers is apparently a top fitness clothing brand. That could be confusing...

Have you been for a nice break smurfy? Which part of Ireland did you go to?
Title: The Chocolate Mission
Post by: smurfboy on March 16, 2008, 05:58:34 pm
I've had a very nice break thanks; a couple of days in Dublin. I've become addicted to Cadbury Golden Crisp and Caramello though, which is a bit of a problem when you can't buy them here Disapprove

Did you bring some home?
Title: The Chocolate Mission
Post by: smurfboy on March 16, 2008, 06:40:59 pm
I did but not enough. I was going to get a big slab of Golden Crisp at the airport but I needed my boarding card and didn't have it on me. I might try and scan the wrappers at some point.

I did try a couple of pints of Guinness, but I'm not mad on it.

Sorry Smurfy. I tried scanning something the other day from a photo I took and the size issue cropped up. I thought I would save you the hassle.
