Title: Jamesons Ruffle selection
Post by: on December 13, 2007, 09:11:33 pm
Woolies again.
Little minature versions of the ruffle bars in different fruit flavours.

Raspberry, orange and lemon or lime that I can recall. No pineapple ones that I saw though.

A bit different in that it just fruit varieties rather than the ubiqitous caramel/toffee/nut flavours.

Tried googling but couldn't find them.

I'll keep an eye out for these.
I've only had the raspberry ones before but I really liked those, so the other flavours should be worth trying.

Pineapple is an unusual flavour for chocolates isn't it? I don't think I've seen it anywhere much besides some of the expensive boxes of chocs.

Thanks Paulham.  Smile

Leaf used to make a pineaapple cream bar but they were vile. There are some flavours which just do not go together. Don't believe me? See here:

Civet Coffee: This is the rarest and most definitely extraordinary coffee in the world!. Civet, or Kopi Luwak as it is known, is considered to be the finest coffee by native Sumatrans. Kopi Luwak has a rich chocolate like flavour and no aftertaste, which is unique. This flavour is due to the fact the coffee has been partially fermented by passing through the digestive system of the Palm Civet Cat. Only about 50 kilos of this coffee is collected per year making it the ultimate in uniqueness and rarity!

I think I shall never know what it tastes like, and that I would not want to even risk kissing anyone who drunk it as their favourite coffee. LOL
I think this is a very strange thing, but I suppose people do eat and drink some very strange things. Tripe for example. yuk.

I also wonder who on earth had the idea to drink this to begin with. Who looked at a pile of cat s**t and thought "You know if I gathered that and dried it I bet that would make lovely coffee!!" Confused

Oh, I can't edit my post, so I'll have to make a new one to say.

I hadn't heard of this before Paulham. Thanks for sharing. LOL

Imagine the first person watching a cow suckle her calf thinking " Mmmmm, we could drink that stuff too!"
