I went to our newly opened Home Bargains this morning but couldn't be bothered to wait in the  long queues. I plan to go on Tuesday and have a good shop for choc. This milka is definitely on my list.

Try and go about 2pm if you can Lou - the lunchtime rush is over by then (at least in our branch) so the queues are shorter.

I didn't think giro day existed anymore - doesn't it have to be paid directly into a bank account these days?

It is paid directly into your account, but always on the same day. It's fortnightly now too.
