Everyone has made me feel really special so it's not so bad being a grand old lady of 50!
The funniest thing happened when one of the senior management team visited our office to speak to my boss and saw my desk full of flowers, cards and cakes. He beamed at me and wished me a happy retirement!!! We laughed so much there was a run for the ladies!
I took the afternoon off as I didn't have any classes and tonight we are going out for a meal.

Also, yesterday's post brought a huge parcel from Thorntons filled with champagne and chocolates (to add to the other champage and chocolates I got the day before!
It's much betterv than being 40 - that was a non event!
