A lovely work colleague has just returned from the USA and brought me some American choc (bless her).
I have just tried an Almond Joy.
In my opinion (and to me that counts for a lot
) I believe it is the closest thing I have tasted to a CABANA since it ceased production.
Now, naturally it is whole almonds on the top of the coconut rather cherries but that could be fixed.
The coconut is not as dry as a Bounty but chewy like the caramel base in a Cabana.
If you have never tried one but loved Cabanas, I wholeheartedly suggest you try one. I would rate them 9/10.

Thanks Paulham, I'm taking notes for my next visit to the USA in November.

I've got a Milky Way Midnight too!
(Oh! I've just c*m!!!)

Came I did.
Yes, I can reveal to those who care (that'll be me then) that a Milky Way Midnight is a Mars Midnight by another name.
It was pretty sticky and salty and the MWM was nice too.

I had a Snickers almond yesterday. (Choc from USA all done now)
Bit of a minefield wading through the peanut to get to the almond.
Very much like a normal Snickers really.

Based on paulhams opinion I would like an Almond Joy.
