Three days! THREE DAYS!!! It took only three days for her money to buy her freedom on medical grounds.
I am sickened by this. She was convicted of drinking and driving and then violated her probation but now she doesn't want to serve her time.
It's a disgrace. All convicted drin drivers should be jailed and serve their time. I guess she wasn't that sick when she broke the law and then ignored her probation conditions.
-
absolutely disgusting.
-
She's claiming she was on the verge of a nervous breakdown and apparently was 'handling prison very badly'. I don't want to make light of mental health problems, but isn't prison supposed to be difficult to handle? Isn't that's why it's called prison and not Butlins?
She's supposedly going to serve the rest of her sentence under house arrest - which might be a punishment if you live in a grotty bedsit, but is probably somewhat more bareable in massive mansion with a pool.
-
I wake up every morning just longing to be placed under house arrest. Imagine having all day to watch TV, read the newspapers properly, read all those books that are stacking up beside your bed. It sounds like heaven to me. And I don't live in a mansion.
-
I read Paris was in a seperate part of the prison which is kept especially for celebs so I don't imagine it was too bad.
-
She's back in jail!!
-
Yes. The judge has sent her back.
-
I putting monewy she will be back out again in 3days AND once Get put Back in !
-
She was told she has to complete her 45 day sentence.
-
Did anyone hear the reaction of that man in the crowd when they were told she had been returned to prison? He started wailing "Oh NO! NO! NO! NO!" It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO over the top!
-
Hee Hee absolutely loving the saga of the poor little banged-up rich girl.
I read Paris was in a seperate part of the prison which is kept especially for celebs so I don't imagine it was too bad.
But I cannot begin to tell you how it disturbs me to find out that some prisons have a seperate section just for celebs. There must be a lot of felons on the A list these days if they are designating them a special wing in the prisons.
I hope she has to serve the whole of her sentence, not because I'm particularly mean, at least I don't think I am! But more because the whole idea of prison is to punish you so severely that you think twice before breaking the law again. At least that's what I have always believed.
I wonder how long it will be before celebs are paying mere ordinary mortals to serve their sentences for them???

Mark Morrison got in trouble because he was caught out paying someone to do his community service for him.

Well for.............. Oh good grief!!!
I was only joking.

At least I thought I was.

-
I see Paris has been offered 2.5 million to write a book about her "prison ordeal"
-
Not exactly Myra Hindley is she?
-
Paris is to leave jail on Tuesday after almost three-and-a-half weeks behind bars, authorities in California have said.
She was sentenced on 3 June to 45 days in jail but crowded jail conditions and time off for good behaviour will mean that she is released after 24 days.

Let's hope she has learned her lesson.
