Alcohol product logos will no longer appear on children's replica sports shirts from 1 January 2008.
Do you think it matters if a child wears a football shirt with Heineken or Carlsberg written across it ? loulou2007-06-03 23:04:49

it's bloody stupid. what the hell does it matter?
what about shirts with internet casinos printed on them? surely promoting gambling on a kids shirt is worse than alcohol?

I agree and it won't be the same for the kids if their shirts don't look identical to their heroes'. I forsee a lot of kids wearing oversized shirts in future!
-
I don't think kids will want to drink alcohol just because they have Carlsberg written across their shirts. Again it is just some do gooder causing trouble.

I have a photo of my son aged about 4 with Carlsberg across his shirt (it was a yellow one - Liverpool away strip or something?). He doesn't seem to have turned into an alcoholic as yet.....

It's another case of people trying to blame everyone except themselves for problems. Are you obese? Then hey, sue McDonalds! Don't just stop shovelling food into your gob or anything mad like that. Got a teenager with a drink problem? It's not your fault for not keeping a better eye on them - it's all down to the logo on his footie shirt!

What do you people think of the Olympic 2012 logo?

It's rubbish! I liked the one where it said London but the first three letters looked like 2012

What do you people think of the Olympic 2012 logo?
Well when I picked myself up off the floor after having an epileptic fit I decided I didn't care for it.
