Railway worker Jan Grzebski, 65, fell into a coma after he was hit by a train in 1988 and now he has woken up. Isn't this marvellous.
-
thats amazing, do they think he will make a good recovery ?
-
I think he'll find the world has changed somewhat - his story will sell for a fortune but could be fascinating reading or watching.
-
He went in to it was teh USSR controled the poland
-
is he fully functional or a bed-ridden drooling vegetable?
i saw a similar story on a show a few months back, and the guy who woke up was a complete mess, and probably better off asleep.
-
I think he may be in a wheelchair from the article I read but his mind is working and he said the things that surprise him most are the choice of food in shops now and how everyone uses a mobile phone.
His wife cared for him all those years and was constantly rolling him from one side to the other to prevent any pressure sores. She must love him very much.
-
He's a very lucky man.
Not only to have woken up after all this time, but to have someone in his life who loves him that much, makes him extremely fortunate.
-
I saw him interviewed last night and apparently he'd even been taken out to various occasions while in the coma and was able to recall some of them.

I think he may be in a wheelchair
I guess after all that time lying down his muscles won't work but with the right exercises maybe the medical staff can get him walking again.
