Actor Hugh Laurie, star of US hospital drama House, has been made an OBE by the Queen. And once again I ask myself why?
They are given out to every Tom, Dick and Harry.
-
But it's not as if Hugh Laurie is a nobody. He's had a successful career in TV and film for 25 years.
-
Yes, I agre with Smurfy. He and Stephen Fry achieved complete hero status in my eyes with their portrayal of Jeeves and Wooster. I have the whole lot on DVD.
-
Do you agree with OBE's?
-
I don't even know why they're given out so I can't say really.
They seem to be a waste of time and money to me, but then if I knew what they were for I might have a different point of view.
