I have been looking back over some old posts and came across some familiar and dear old names that we have not heard from lately:
Klopek - he pops in and out now and then but used to post regularly
Muggybonehead - where did dear old muggy go?
Dr Mopp - another sweety - where are you moppy?
Scampycat - newly married - how's it going scampy??
Bobble - used to post from her office desk dressed in her PJs - where are you bobble?
Eidlewiess - another regular who is missed.
Can't we have a chatroom reunion???
-
I'm still too new to remember most of these but I do recall Bobble making me very welcome when I first posted. I wonder why they've deserted?
-
More recently though, what's happened to One Serious Chocoholic? We had quite a few chats before Christmas but she hasn't posted this year.
-
I had a private message from Edelweiss at Christmas but nothing since. Her message was rather 'enigmatic'.
-
I remember some of those people too and miss them. I also miss the old forum. It was cosier and easier to keep up with the chats. Now, you have to open up different threads and it takes longer. It's more impersonal. What really ruined it for me was the idiots who came on giving us abuse. You expect it now and then but they completely destroyed the old forum for me and it looks like you have a few idiots back again at the moment.
-
Bunny, take comfort in that you are not like them. They are different from us. These are people who consider it a treat to eat at McDonalds and whose idea of culture is to be able to spell incorrectly.
-
You really shouldn't let the odd troll ruin your enjoyment of somewhere. If you do that then they have won and managed to create chaos where there was calm.
Tis best not to react, although I do tend to poke fun just for kicks.

Great wisdom in one so young.

-
Hello klopek. No, not that intelligent. Bounty's the really clever one. I miss the flirting between you and NAC - remember?
Lou, do you remember NAC????
-
-
I dont think, think that was before my forum time...thats going back way past the summer.
-
It's going back a couple of years now I think.
-
I remember NAC very well. What a delightfully charming girl she was. She would have had fun with bounty.
-
Girl!?
Hah!
As Arabella Weir used to say on the Fast Show.

Was NAC a man then?

No NAC was all woman!

She wasn't that heavy.

By the way lou, did NAC stand for Nuts about Clopek??
