Some people like to back themselves up.  Some on here even created alter egos and argued amongs themselves.

In answer to your earlier question, yes, I did have an alter ego whom I used for a specific purpose. Most people know whom it was. I don't use 'her' anymore as a) there is no need and b) it's not really appropriate for a mod!

I don't think there is any problem with having an alter ego as long as they are not created for the purpose of being offensive or causing mischief.

I have decided not to greet any new Forum members until I know for sure they are genuine because I do not wish to be abused by the likes of Joan or any of her 'friends'.

all this alter ego business makes me apprehensive about joining in on this forum sometimes..when i first joined there seemed to be alot of it happening..well talk of it anyway..

i admit i read this forum nearly every day but i don't sign in very often..

I have had several alter egos but tend not to log them in now unless it's appropriate, eg Easter Bunny or DrWho.

Neither did I but Mr 1001 posted that huge boring Nokia advert and Smurfy deleted it so may be he is not a genuine member but a salesman. Also, he referred to us a costumers so he's obviously not based in the UK.
