Has anyone bought any of the collection? I've bought a couple of things today to sell on eBay.
-
What did you buy?
-
Two dresses - one floral, one paisley.
-
I see a few nice Kate Moss clothes on ebay.
-
Smurfy are you buying any Lily Allen @ New Look?
-
I heard she was doing a range - is it out yet?
-
Yes it is in my magazine called Look.
-
The Lily Allen stuff is a bit forgettable.
The dresses are very flowy looking, blousy and lots of gathers, and have big heart shaped tags hanging from them.
Since that's all I can remember about what I saw that'll show you how impressed with them I was. And normally I love clothes.
-
I looked on eBay and it isn't doing that well. But I hear Kylie is doing a range for H&M so I will hunt that out.
-
After looking at my magazine more closely I see Lily Allens clothes are a bit crap and overpriced so maybe best to pass on them smurfy. Doesn't Kylie have an underwear range in Debenhams?
-
I think she did do an underwear range, yes.
-
Lily Allen says anyone queueing for hours to buy her fashion range is sad and stupid.
The singer said it was not worth the effort because her New Look collection would never sell out.
-
I didn't hear that she'd said people who were queuing are stupid - that's a bit harsh on those shelling out for her range! I'd heard the bit about her collection not selling out; I thought it was pretty honest of her to say that she isn't the same sort of draw as Kate Moss, or Madonna was at H&M.
-
Gobby Lily slammed the "lying" fashion industry for over-hyping everything.
She said: "Queueing for hours and hours is stupid. It could be avoided if fashion companies didnt hype everything so much.
"We all know that if the shop runs out of stock theyll order more, so whats the point of queueing? Its part of the whole lie.
"I dont think we will sell out of my clothes, Im not Kate Moss."
-
In a way I agree with her, but if the fashion industry didn't 'hype' clothes, they wouldn't sell.
-
Doesn't she want people to buy her stuff?
I mean I agree with her about the queueing (one of my pet hates) but even so, some shops don't buy more if they sell out, they move on to new things.
If even the designer doesn't think her stuff is worth queueing for how am I ever going to?
What a strange attitude to a sales pitch she has to be sure!

seen kylies swimwear advertised looks quite nice wonder if they do a range of sizes though ?
